概述

The Spartan Accelerated Graduate 教育 (SAGE) 程序 provides undergraduate students an accelerated path towards a graduate 学位. SAGE学者将攻读学士学位 and master’s 学位 simultaneously by allowing scholars to earn graduate credit during 他们的本科生涯. Additionally, SAGE scholars will have the added benefits of 1) reducing the number of semesters required to earn a master’s 学位, 2) paying undergraduate fees for some graduate-level courses, 3) a seamless application process when applying to the graduate career, and 4) working with a research mentor earlier 在一个学习计划中.

资格

• Students must successfully complete a minimum of 60 undergraduate 学位 applicable units and not more than 120 undergraduate 学位 applicable units at the time of admission 加入SAGE计划.
• Students must be enrolled in or have completed the undergraduate Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (usually 100W) prior to admission 加入SAGE计划.
• 学生必须至少有2个.5 cumulative GPA at the time of admission into the 明智的计划. There may be 明智的计划s that require a higher GPA admission standard.

Note: Students must have completed all lower division courses (designated as 001-099) BEFORE transitioning into the SAGE graduate 学位 objective status.

应用程序信息

Interested students should first determine their eligibility for a given 明智的计划 in consultation with a SAGE Program Coordinator. 完成SAGE项目申请 with your coordinator who will forward you application for processing and approval to the Office of the Registrar (for Step 1) or GAPE (for Step 2). 记住两点 重要的几点:

1. You must meet with your advisor every semester to review and complete the SAGE Academic 职业规划师
2. The semester before you reach 120 学位 eligible units, you must file a second application to ensure that you will be transferred into the graduate career the following semester.

• Will I be able to complete all 学位 requirements for a 明智的计划 in 5 years?

  • No. There are no conditional admittances into any 明智的计划s. 学生是 accepted into 明智的计划s should not be required to complete any additional courses other than those identified as required for the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s 学位s 在 菠菜网lol正规平台目录.
• Will transitioning to graduate standing impact my tuition rate?
